If you're a dog photographer business owner, you know how difficult it can be to get your business off the ground. First of all, Simple Sales provided me with a step-by-step process for pricing my photography services. Before taking the course, I wondered how much I should charge for each shoot. I didn't know the answer, but I hoped that I'd eventually find it. After going through the Simple Sales course, though, I came out with a clear answer. Annemie Tonken, the founder of This Can’t Be That Hard had provided me with a pricing structure that not only made sense - it made me a profitable photographer.
Secondly, Simple Sales showed me how to offer an even better client experience. Before the course, I thought my client experience was great, and with a 5 star rating on google, I really thought I had that part down. This course is definitely about pricing, but it’s also about delivering an incredible client experience. Annemie Tonken gives you email templates, call scripts, and website verbiage for every step of the client experience. Annemie showed me how important consult calls are, so that we can make sure that the client is a great fit for us and that they could understand the value that I was bringing to their pet photography experience.
Thirdly, Simple Sales taught me how to create a sales funnel that would help me to keep my clients engaged. Previously, I didn't have any kind of sales funnel in place. I would take a client's portrait, then say goodbye after the shoot was over. After taking Simple Sales, I now have a much clearer idea of how to communicate with my clients after their session and have started the Pup + Me Yearbook Club after taking Annemie’s Revenue on Repeat course. And because I know how to nurture those relationships, I'm now seeing a lot more repeat business.
Fourthly, Simple Sales helped me reach a huge goal that meant a lot to me, encouraging my clients to turn those digitals in to gorgeous prints. Before taking the course, I would send over a gallery and my clients wouldn’t print any of their gorgeous photos. Since taking the course, I have worked photo printing in to my client’s package so that they leave with tangible prints that will last a lifetime. This increases the client experience and makes me so happy!!
Finally, Simple Sales gave me the confidence to leave my corporate job and do photography full time. Before taking the course, I struggled with the idea of going full time as a dog photographer, how could it be possible? My numbers just weren’t adding up to a full time salary, but after taking this course, and three months after implementing it, I went full time as a professional dog photographer. Best. Feeling. EVER.
