If you’re drawn to that iconic Sedona red rock glow, this West Sedona spot delivers some seriously breathtaking views. With Cathedral Rock towering in the distance and warm golden light that wraps everything in magic, it’s an incredible location for creating timeless artwork. This location is ideal for folks looking for those classic desert vibes with sweeping vistas and a bit more adventure.

The short 5-minute walk to this location includes a steep, rocky hill at the end. It’s not wheelchair accessible, and may not be the best fit for anyone with mobility concerns. That said, as a not-super-athletic person myself, I can say it’s very doable with some good shoes.

Due to the terrain and tight space, this spot is best suited for a maximum of two dogs. It’s a quiet and peaceful area, but because it requires a bit of a hike.
